  • Episode 104 - £18k Fine for Brithlink Charity
    2025/10/01

In this episode, we have a slight turn of events in that this is our webinar that we did about the 18k fine for Birthlink Charity. The aim of Birthlink is to enhance the well-being and promote the welfare of all people affected by adoption with a Scottish connection. However, Birth Link came under fire after they destroyed records too soon relating to adoptees. The ICO fined them specifically for poor Records Management which is Emily's specialism but it crosses over into Data Protection too.
