Why do some paths leave us feeling empty?
Not every road that promises freedom leads to life.
Some slowly hollow us out.
Others restore us into the people God created us to become.
In the opening episode of the Walk the Way series, we explore one of the Bible’s most consistent themes: every person is already walking a path.
Throughout Scripture, paths are never merely directions—they represent ways of living, trusting, worshiping, and becoming.
This episode follows the biblical pattern of formation:
- Every path makes a promise.
- Every promise shapes trust.
- Trust shapes desire.
- Desire shapes practice.
- Practice forms character.
- Character determines direction.
- Direction leads toward a destination.
From Genesis through the teachings of Jesus, Scripture repeatedly presents two ways: the way of life and the way of destruction.
We examine how sin gradually hollows humanity from the inside while Jesus restores us through repentance, discipleship, and faithful obedience.
In this episode:
• The biblical imagery of “the way”
• Why every choice is spiritually formative
• How sin reshapes the human heart
• Why habits matter more than intentions
• Jesus as the fulfillment of the Way
• Practical steps for walking faithfully with Christ
