The government will never give us full disclosure. That is the blunt conclusion of Paul Ascough, a retired nurse and paramedic who has investigated UFOs since his first sighting in 1968 and has personally logged around 30 encounters. In this episode of the TruthSeekah Podcast, Paul explains why the UFO coverup is built into the system, and why even today's declassified files only tell part of the story.

Paul traces the modern coverup back to 1952, when hundreds of people, including freshly demobilized military pilots with trained eyes, watched UFOs maneuver over Washington DC. The official explanation, temperature inversions and thermal refraction, was so obviously inadequate that the authorities launched what Paul calls aggressive debunking: ridiculing witnesses, discrediting investigators, and burying the subject at the comedic end of the evening news. From that moment on, he argues, the pattern was set.

He explains that national security has always been the stated reason for secrecy, but if ETs were a real threat, he reasons, we would have been destroyed long ago. Instead, governments drip-feed just enough information, like the recent release of UAP files and the AARO records, to control the narrative and keep the lid on the pressure cooker. Paul predicts full disclosure will never come, because admitting the truth would unravel the very institutions built around denial.

He also speaks about the personal cost of coverup: the fear programming of Hollywood, the ridicule that silences witnesses, and the deliberate blurring of genuine contact with disinformation. Yet he remains hopeful, because with cameras in every pocket, it is getting harder and harder to hide the sky.
