Before kids, desire showed up. After kids, everything that desire depends on got reorganized — your nervous system, your body, your identity, and your relationship. And no one warned you that was coming.

In this video, I'm walking you through five things that actually change about desire after children, why none of it means desire is gone, and how to stop trying to get back to who you were before and start building something that fits who you are now.

❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Why did my desire disappear after having kids?
A: It didn't disappear. Every system that supports desire — your nervous system, your sense of body ownership, your identity, your relationship dynamic — got reorganized around survival and caregiving. That's a recalibration, not a permanent loss.

Q: Why am I touched out and what does that have to do with desire?
A: When your body is constantly needed by your children, it stops feeling like yours. By the time your partner reaches for you, there's genuinely nothing left — not because you don't love them, but because the glass is empty. Reclaiming moments where your body belongs to you is the first step back.

Q: How do I find desire again after kids without waiting until they leave home?
A: You stop trying to return to old desire and start building desire that fits your life now. That means protecting time to be genuinely off duty, reconnecting with who you are outside of motherhood, and deliberately keeping the romantic relationship alive alongside the parenting one.
