概要
In this message from our Sermon on the Mount series, we explore Jesus’ powerful words in Matthew 5:13–20 and what it truly means to live as citizens of His kingdom.
Jesus declares, “You are the salt of the earth” and “You are the light of the world.” But what does that actually mean? Is this something we strive to become—or something we already are in Him?
This sermon unpacks the identity of the believer as salt and light, showing how Christ Himself is the true source of all influence, preservation, and illumination. Any good in us flows from Him. When we are connected to Christ, our lives naturally begin to impact those around us—not just through words, but through character, faithfulness, and daily living.
We also examine Jesus’ statement about fulfilling the law and the call to a deeper righteousness—one that goes beyond outward behavior and is rooted in a transformed heart.
This message is a reminder that the Christian life is not about performance, but about connection. Stay connected to Christ, and your life will reflect Him.
