You're the one who carries everyone. Nobody ever asks who carries you.

Today God gets a man dressed, and every thread is preaching a sermon about the person who holds it all together and quietly wonders if anyone is holding them.

Twelve names, engraved on the shoulders, the place of strength. The same twelve names, worn over the heart, the place of love. And one Hebrew verb, hiding under the plain English word "bear," that ties the names on his shoulders to the guilt on his brow and quietly explains the whole gospel.

There's a single sentence at the very end of this passage that tells you what all of it was really for. Most people read right past it.

Then we meet the better High Priest, the one who carries your name not on a stone He could set down, but in scarred hands that will never let go.
