When I think of that scripture I used to think God turned it, but God had a different meaning from the beginning. The enemy just added his meaning later. Some of know we should have a desire for the spirit but we don’t because we have yet to change our environment. We can build some many attachments to things and people in our environment who ultimately will determine what we see, hear say and ultimately believe then do. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Just cause we have won the victory in Christ doesn’t mean we have the victory in our lives. We have to walk in the victory. What we hear, see and say will reflect.
