  • Create in Me a Clean Heart | Psalm 51
    2026/03/02

In this episode of Where Faith Lives, we walk slowly through Psalm 51, the prayer David wrote after being confronted by the prophet Nathan.

    This is not surface repentance.

This is what it sounds like when defense stops.

After sin involving Bathsheba, deception, and the arranged death of Uriah (2 Samuel 11–12), David is confronted with the truth: “You are the man.”

And instead of deflecting, he repents.

    In this teaching, we explore:

    • What real repentance sounds like

    • Why ownership matters

    • The difference between conviction and condemnation

    • Why David feared losing God’s presence more than losing his throne

    • What “Create in me a clean heart” actually means

Psalm 51 teaches us that God is not looking for performance — He desires honesty.

    Exposure is not destruction.

    Brokenness is not weakness.

    Repentance is alignment.

If you have ever wrestled with guilt, hidden struggle, or the weight of your own decisions, this episode is for you.

  • Matthew 5:17-20 | Fulfilled, Not Abolished- The Righteousness That Goes Deeper
    2026/02/25

In this mid-week pop-in episode of Where Faith Lives, we sit in Matthew 5:17–20 (NLT), where Jesus makes a powerful and often misunderstood statement:

“I did not come to abolish the law… but to accomplish its purpose.”

At first glance, this passage can feel intense — even intimidating. Jesus speaks about commandments, righteousness, and entering the Kingdom of Heaven. But when we slow down and understand the context, we discover something deeper.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • What it truly means that Jesus “fulfilled” the Law

    • Why not even the smallest detail of God’s Word is insignificant

    • The difference between external religious performance and internal transformation

    • Why Jesus said our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees

    • How true righteousness flows from relationship, not rule-keeping

This isn’t a call to pressure.

    It’s a call to depth.

Jesus was not dismantling God’s Word — He was embodying it. And He wasn’t raising the standard to make it impossible — He was shifting the focus from appearance to heart posture.

If you’ve ever wrestled with the tension between grace and obedience…

If you’ve wondered whether righteousness is something you earn or receive…

If you’re trying to follow God sincerely, not performatively…

    This conversation is for you.

Stay rooted. Stay aligned. Let righteousness flow from love.

  • Breaking Free from Manifestation, Chakras & New Age Practices
    2026/02/23

In this deeply personal episode of Where Faith Lives, I share my testimony of how I got caught up in manifestation, crystals, chakra practices, sage burning, and New Age spirituality — all while still believing in God.

I was searching for something deeper. I wanted spiritual connection. I wanted clarity. I wanted control. But instead, I found confusion, heaviness, sleepless nights, intense headaches, and a depression that hit quickly and heavily.

By the grace of God, the Holy Spirit corrected me — not with condemnation, but with love. What happened next changed everything.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Why people are drawn to New Age practices

    • What manifestation really teaches

    • The danger of mixing faith with other spiritual systems

    • Why surrender is different from self-exaltation

    • Why Jesus is better

    • Romans 12:2 and true transformation

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” — Romans 12:2 (NLT)

This episode is not about shame.

It is not about pretending we never searched.

It is not about acting as if we were never confused.

    It is about freedom.

If you have ever practiced manifestation…

If you have ever used crystals, sage, affirmations, or energy rituals…

If you have ever tried to mix Jesus with other spiritual practices…

Or if you are currently in that space and something in your spirit has been whispering that it is not right…

    This conversation is for you.

God is not intimidated by your search.

    But He will not compete.

True transformation does not come from controlling the universe.

It comes from surrendering to the One who created it.

The Scripture referenced in this episode is Romans 12:2 (NLT). I encourage you to read it slowly and allow the Holy Spirit to examine your heart.

If this episode spoke to you, share it with someone who may need clarity. And if you feel comfortable, I invite you to share your testimony in the comments. I would love to know — where are you now in your journey?

  • Walking in Love — Restoration Over Condemnation
    2026/02/17

In this episode of Where Faith Lives, we explore what it truly means to walk in love — not a silence that avoids truth, and not a posture of superiority — but the kind of love that reflects the heart of Christ.

So often, correction is delivered without compassion. Truth is carried without gentleness. And somewhere along the way, restoration is replaced with condemnation.

Through Scripture and honest reflection, we talk about:

    • Why love is evidence of belonging to God (1 John 4:7)

    • How God’s kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4)

    • Why restoration—not exposure—is God’s heart (Galatians 6:1–5)

    • What it means to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)

Walking in love does not mean excusing sin.

    It means reflecting Christ.

This episode invites us to examine not just what we believe — but how we carry it.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron | Proverbs 27:17
    2026/02/02

What does Scripture truly mean when it says, “Iron sharpens iron”?

In this episode of Where Faith Lives, we slow down and sit with Proverbs 27 to understand the full context behind one of the most quoted verses about relationships, growth, and accountability.

    Before we teach, we listen.

Before we apply, we read the Word.

Together, we explore how God uses faithful relationships to refine us—not through control, pressure, or force, but through truth, discernment, restraint, and trust in His timing.

    This episode looks closely at:

    • The surrounding wisdom of Proverbs 27 and what sharpening is meant to produce

    • The difference between godly encouragement and unhealthy attachment

    • How growth often comes through honest tension and loving correction

    • The biblical relationship of David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel—a picture of loyalty, protection, obedience, and knowing when to let go
