Some losses do not arrive with one clear ending. A person may still be alive but distant or unreachable, and the weight of that change can take time to become emotionally real.

In this episode, I reflect on ambiguous loss, delayed grief, and the way loss can arrive in groups or clusters: relationships, routines, belonging, and futures we expected. For some autistic people, difficult news arrives in two parts—facts first, emotional meaning later.

This is not about forcing repair or closure. It is an invitation to recognise what has changed, make room for grief, and meet one another with patience.
