このコンテンツについて

Welcome to Whatever You Can Know Podcast with Tanya Savva. A place where spirituality meets special needs parenting, consciousness meets embodiment, trauma meets healing and a whole bunch of extra stuff to inspire curiosity about whatever you can know.

My insatiable interest in physiology, biology and science started with cadavers in a wet lab in the year 2000 as a university student. When my life took an unexpected turn in 2009 and I birthed a daughter with a disability, my interest moved from the physical to the metaphysical, emotional and spiritual. Becoming a special needs mum unravelled me to my core. It wasn’t part of my life’s plan but hindsight comes with many gifts and I wouldn’t want my life to be any other way.

I’ve since been many things in the health, wellbeing and healing space for over 20 years as a therapist, creative and healer. I’ve studied and shape-shifted from one thing to another, time and time again, following my gut, my inner voice and intuition. Despite the ways in which I’ve changed, throughout my conscious evolution, I have consistently been a special needs mother, a student, a writer and deeply curious.

I’ve supported many people to ignite radical self responsibility, awaken awareness, release unconscious limitations and reconnect with purpose and presence. Just as my daughter did for me.

As life thrusts its unexpectedness against me, I choose to loosen my grip on the illusion of control, and allow myself to be swept up in the magic of life’s unfolding.

So here we are, you and me, on a podcast, where I share an amalgamation of what is real, what is true, what is current and what I know. This is not a self help space. But you may see yourself in my muse, and I hope that awakens an insatiable interest in you, too.

Welcome to Whatever You Can Know — your home for what’s real, right now.

  • EP 18 | The sock dilemma
    2025/05/08

In this episode, I am reading a post I am shared on Substack on the 9th May 2025.

I have made the decision to create audio versions of my written content to ensure the blindness and low vision community, or people who just prefer to listen, can access and enjoy my muse.

    It’s titled ‘The sock dilemma’.

I speak about the challenges my blind daughter faces to achieve simple, everyday tasks that able bodied people do without a second thought and how I support her to achieve her goals.

It’s all about how the humble sock gave me a big lesson in being resourceful, creative, and opportunistic, and how what one perceives as a dead end, to me, feels like a detour. There’s always another way!

  • EP 17 | Resistance, opportunity and saying yes!
    2025/05/07

In this episode I share a realisation about the power of choice and feeling resistance to an essential part of a new job I started.

We have the ability choose. When we say YES to something, we have to remember that we’re saying yes to all of it - the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’. Or, in the words of the Buddha, what the mind perceives as being pleasant and unpleasant.

I talk about the mind having a tendency towards pleasure and avoidance of pain and how being aware of my resistance allowed me to see that when I say no, I limit opportunities.

I speak about acceptance and surrender and how I'm venturing on my own surrender experiment (inspired by Michael Singer’s book The Surrender Experiment).

I am choosing to say yes to life, seeing what doors and further opportunities present by getting my mind out of the way and letting life flow with less resistance.

Unexpected opportunities and growth can emerge from trusting the process, letting go of control, being in the flow of life and saying yes.

  • EP 16 | I always feel good about myself
    2025/04/26

In this episode I am reading a post I am shared on Substack on the 26th April 2025.

I have made the decision to create audio versions of my written content to ensure the blindness and low vision community, or people who just prefer to listen, can access and enjoy my muse.

It’s titled ‘I always feel good about myself’.

It’s about my passion for learning and the desire I’ve had in recent years to have quality teachers educate and guide me to learn things that I don’t know. And how comfortable I am in making mistakes, because I see it as an opportunity to grow, rather than a failure.
