This week's message opens a new 12-week journey through the Old Testament's Minor Prophets, starting with Malachi — God's final recorded words to Israel before 400 years of prophetic silence. Malachi confronts a people who had rebuilt the Temple and resumed the rituals, but whose hearts had gone quietly numb. Through a striking back-and-forth between God and His people, we're challenged in three areas: what we sacrifice, what we withhold, and how we respond to correction — and reminded that even in the middle of indifference, God is actively making a way back.

Three questions to take with you:

1. What we sacrifice for God reveals how much we value Him — what are you currently giving Him: your best, or your leftovers?
2. What we withhold from God reveals how much we trust Him — where are you holding tightly out of fear instead of trust?
3. Our response to God's correction reveals how much we love Him — when God (or someone He's placed in your life) calls something out, how do you typically respond?
