We are considering the difficulty of the Christian journey.
We talked about how we are are called to sacrifice and walk alone the last 2 weeks. This week, we consider the difficulty of waiting on the Lord. When the Lord gives a promise, it isn't fulfilled in our time. People throughout scripture waited for different times for the promise of God. Some believe Noah waited over 40 years for the fulfillment of the flood, Abraham waited 25 years for the promise, and Joseph waited 13 years for his dream to come true. None of the promises came at the time the individual desired. This is a difficult component of Christian life.
In a world that is so attracted to rushing, what do we do when the Lord has us in a season of waiting. How do we handle the waiting well? We consider this and more in this week's sermon. As always, thanks for listening. If you have any prayer requests or questions, email us at theservingchurchdallas@gmail.com. Thanks and hope you have a blessed week.
