West Point taught us leadership, discipline, and how to solve hard problems.

It did not teach us how money actually works.

In this conversation, I sat down with my former West Point classmate and current jiu jitsu teammate Baggio, a full time realtor in the Phoenix area, to talk about the financial education we had to pursue on our own after graduation.

We share stories from getting started in investing, lessons learned in real estate, and the ideas that changed how we think about wealth building. One of those intersections for us became privatized banking and using capital more intentionally instead of constantly rebuilding from zero.

I also share how changing the way I structured and stored capital helped me think differently about scaling real estate and long term planning.

This conversation is about more than investing. It is about learning how to think, ask better questions, and build systems that create more freedom and optionality over time.
