A mother does the unthinkable to protect her child. Ruthie joins Jan Broberg to share her family's story of surviving child sexual abuse and the fight to save her daughter's life in the aftermath.

Today Jan is joined by Ruthie who is the parent of a child that went through sexual abuse by her half-sibling for two years. The story today is this child's story, but through the eyes of her mother, showing the sacrifices one has to make initially to end the abuse and later to save her child's life after dysfunctional behavior has set in due to the abuse.
