After eight months away from the podcast, I’m coming back with the most vulnerable episode I’ve ever recorded.

Earlier this year, Patrick and I found out we were pregnant. We spent weeks dreaming about our baby, telling our friends, imagining our future, and experiencing some of the deepest joy of our lives.

And at 10 weeks, we found out there was no heartbeat.

In this episode, I’m sharing the story of my miscarriage and the unexpected portal it opened in my life. I talk about choosing to move through the miscarriage naturally, the grief and fear that followed, a profound plant medicine ceremony that changed the way I understood what had happened, and the journey into my womb that began afterward.

Over the last few months, I’ve started receiving hands-on, hands-in pelvic and womb care, and what I’m discovering is changing the way I understand my body, pleasure, receiving, softness, money, intimacy, creation, and the work I’m here to do.

So much so that this experience has led me toward an entirely new body of work. This November, I begin training in hands-on womb and pelvic care, a modality I’ll eventually weave into the somatic work I’ve been doing for years.

This isn’t a story with a neat ending or a lesson I’ve perfectly wrapped in a bow. I’m still in it. I’m still grieving, opening, remembering, and discovering what all of this is here to show me.

But I’m ready to bring you into the messy middle with me.

This is the story of losing our baby, listening to my womb, and finding myself at the beginning of a path I never expected to walk.
