This one is heavy — and it's supposed to be. Me and Chance sat down to talk about the weight of being Black in America. The weight of raising Black children. The weight of still showing up with joy and grace in a world that doesn't always value our lives. This conversation was sparked by the Nolan Wales case and everything it stirred up in us as parents, as a couple, and as Black people. Chance shares things he was reluctant to say on camera. I share things I carry since I was 10 years old. We said what needed to be said.
