    2025/12/24

Hello there and Merry HISSmas! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s 249th lesson on Pokémon biology. For today’s class, we will be discussing Lugia: the Diving Pokémon. But it is also known by its much cooler title: the Guardian of the Seas! This legendary Pokémon is said to spend its time deep at the bottom of the ocean, shielding the world from its incredible power. With power so great, Lugia has been said to cause a 40-day storm by simply flapping its wings. However, Lugia is also known to calm raging storms. It giveth and it taketh away. It brings the storm, then calms it. The Master of the Tides, the Lord of Storms, the Guardian of the Seas. Grab your HISSmas stocking and notebook because it's time to learn about Lugia!

  • 248: Tyranitar
    2025/12/17

Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s 248th lesson on Pokémon biology. This lesson is all about Tyranitar: the Armor Pokémon and final evolved form of Larvitar. This extremely strong rock and dark type is powerful enough to change the landscape. With just one hand, Tyranitar has the power to make mountains crumble. And having that level of power combined with an insolent nature makes Tyranitar a recipe for pure destruction. It's a good thing we don’t have one with us in today’s lesson at the Hoenn International Space Station, right? That’d be really bad. But there’s much more to learn about Tyranitar, so take good notes!

  • 247: Pupitar
    2025/12/10

Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s 247th lesson on Pokémon biology. Today’s class is all about Pupitar: the Hard Shell Pokémon and evolved form of Larvitar. With a shell as hard as sheet rock, Pupitar is a resilient, little rock bean that has incredible destructive power. And although it looks kind of helpless, Pupitar refuses to stay still. It even has gas inside its body, which it uses to propel itself like a jet! Wish I could harness the gas inside my body and do that. There’s more to learn about Pupitar, so take good notes!
