I'm always pretty exhausted by the time burn night comes around and this year was no different. I showed up to the circle honestly somewhat dreading another 3 hr set and my 8th of the week. The silver lining was that it was with the lovely people I camped with in 2018, Floasis & Pineapple Motel. In fact, playing their Tuesday party that year was a highlight not only of the 10+ sets I played in 2018, but of all 8 of my burns at that point. The energy their crew brings to the dance floor is just fantastic...so I knew, even though I was tired, it was going to be great. I had a general idea of where they were going to be parked, so I entered the circle around that spot, hung a right and in retrospect that was the wrong decision as I ended up literally walking the entire circumference looking for their art car, the lonely submarine. If I would have taken a left, I would have been right there and not 30 min late. Anyway, what ensued was easily my favorite set of Burning Man 2019. It being my last set of the week, burn night, and one of my only night time sets, I felt the need to go higher energy/darker/heavier...so I did...and what a party we built in front of that submarine! Big love to Floasis/Pineapple Motel for having me again <3 Enjoyyy
