このコンテンツについて

Just a couple-a queerdos, eating fruit, trying to figure it out...

Weird Fruits is hosted by Stevie Mae (they/she) and Mary Lou (she/her), two queer Oregonian transplants from bumf*ck towns across the country. Throughout each episode, they literally eat fruit together while exploring choice topics, sometimes with guests.

StevieMary (a common colloquialism among their friend group) met in 2015 as co-workers at "the children's farm home" (a misleadingly idyllic name for residential kid jail). They grew closer and queerer as the years went on, embracing each other's capital W Weird. Their friendship has sustained hardship, discovery, and transformation.

"All fruits are weird fruits."

    2025/04/08

In Episode 2 of Weird Fruits, we welcome our first-ever guest, Melissa Montague—who can only be described as pure, medicinal magic. With Spring waving its wildflower wand across the land, we delve into the theme “seeds of change.”

Melissa shares her personal and wildly transformative journey with death, and her loving, fruit-infused practice she calls The Art of Impermanence.

To bask further in Melissa's magic, visit armadillomoon.net to learn more about her practice, explore her offerings, and subscribe to her gorgeous writing.

We are incredibly grateful to Melissa for her grace and willingness to explore this territory with us. And to her cosmic partner: You are loved and missed dearly, friend. Portal forever.
