Welcome to the weekend safety brief, the 5-minute or less podcast all about what is going on in Tyler and East Texas. Activities for the Veteran and Veteran family to get them out of the house and into the community.

May 13th 6:00pm - 10:00pm The Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce is happy to present the Patterson Ram Lindale Championship Rodeo presented by the The Edwards Team Realtors at Century 21 First Group! ?

The rodeo is returning to the Cross Brand Cowboy Church and it will be FREE for all to attend thanks to our ticket sponsors!

May 14th The 2nd Friday Acoustic Jam is at the Quitman Public Library, 202 East Goode Street in Quitman TX (located a block east of the courthouse square) every 2nd Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. -- or until they get tired!

May 15th Bee keeping peer group meets at 10 am at CampV. Come out and learn what goes into keeping bees.

May 15th 7:00am - 12:00pm The FRESH 15 is a 15k, 5k and kids' 1k race. The 5th annual FRESH 15 event will be held Saturday March 15, 2021 at FRESH by Brookshire's in Tyler, Texas.

May 15th Rose City Farmers Market Saturdays 8 a.m. -12 noon May-November

May 15th Come out and support Van HS Project Graduation class of 2021, downtown Ben Wheeler 4:00pm - 8:00pm

May 15th Spring Carnival at Broadway Square Mall The Spring Carnival is here! Open from May 6th- 16th at the Broadway Square Mall in the JCPenney parking lot off of Broadway Ave. 6:00pm - 10:00pm

May 16th Locally Forged Farmers Market The Locally Forged Farmers Market will be held on Sunday's 10-2pm. It is conveniently located downtown Ben Wheeler at The Forge Bar and Grill.

May 18th Rally Point Tuesday 12 pm – 1 pm at the Green Zone at CampV. The meal for the peer group will be Frito Pie. Come on out for fellowship and camaraderie
