• The Evangelist Hour - Have You Received God's Gift of Love?
    2025/12/21

Children are a gift from God. In Luke, the angel Gabriel visited Mary and gave her the good news that God had chosen her to be the mother of Jesus. She would conceive supernaturally. Matthew 1:21 says, "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people form their sins." Mary received God's gift of love; have you?

God sent Jesus to die for our sins because of His great love for us. Jesus chose to lay down His life for us because He also loves us dearly. Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." Have you received God's gift of love, Jesus Christ? • The Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom
    2025/12/14

There was a man who feared the Lord and he was a very wise man. God blessed him with wisdom, wealth and riches. However, he stopped being wise because he stopped fearing the Lord. He began to sin greatly against God and began to worship foreign gods. Gods of wood and stone, gods of foreign nations. He hardened his heart towards God and refused to repent.

He reaped the consequences of his behavior, but not only him, but the nation of Israel as well. Our decisions and actions affect our spouses, children and families. A leader's decisions and actions affect the entire nation. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life." ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • If You Are Willing and Obedient You Will Eat the Good of the Land
    2025/12/07

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind." ‭‭God requires us to be obedient to His commands. Obedience brings the blessings.

God gives us free will, however there are consequences to our choice. If we choose to humble ourselves and obey God, God promises to bless us and give us eternal life. If we choose to disobey God, then we set ourselves as enemies of God and will reap what we have sown. "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Jesus is the Lord of Heaven and Earth
    2025/11/30

Jesus is God the Son and He is the Lord or ruler of Heaven and Earth. Before Jesus came to earth in the form of a human being, He lived in heaven ruling and reigning with the Father and the Holy Spirit. After Jesus laid down His life for mankind, God raised Him from the dead and He is alive forevermore.

Jesus returned to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is now ruling and reigning on the earth through His body, the church, His Word and the Holy Spirit. "The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines. Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all [people]. [Isa. 42:5.]" ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.

  • Who Are You Worshipping?
    2025/11/23

God created us to worship Him alone. Worship means to show reverence and adoration to a deity. In Luke 4, satan tried to bribe Jesus into worshipping him. Jesus refuted him with the Word of God. "The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'" ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬-‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭NIV.

God desires worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and truth. We must be born of the Spirit in order to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Who are you worshipping?

  • Order Your Steps in God's Word
    2025/11/16

Every good father communicates with his children. God, our Heavenly Father communicates with us as well. From the very beginning when He created Adam and Eve, God communicated with His children; even after they sinned. God communicated with Abraham, Moses and His prophets throughout history and today He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

"In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe." Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ God has preserved His Word for us, the terminal generation, because He loves us and He desires to show us the path to Him, the author of life. "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

  • Nothing Can Separate Us from the Love of God
    2025/11/09

God is love. Everything He does is based upon love. He created the universe, the heavens and the earth because He wanted to share His life and His love with the heavenly beings, human beings and all the creatures in the sky, on the earth and in the seas. God is not a selfish God.

Satan, one of God's creation fell from grace. God's love for him was not enough. He wanted to be like God. He wanted to be worshipped and adored like God. He wanted to take God's place and have the heavenly beings and human beings bow down and worship him instead. He wanted to separate us from God's love. Satan deceived Eve and Adam and her chose to disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit. However, God still loved them even though they had sinned and He showed them His supernatural love, grace and mercy.

"…neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭39‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Jesus is Lord Over the Storm
    2025/11/02

The storms of life come to each of us. We all go through physical and spiritual storms. However, Jesus reminds us that He is the Lord over every storm. The storms of life never take Jesus by surprise. They may take us by surprise and we may feel unprepared to go through the storm. However, Jesus saw the storm coming way in advance and has already made preparations for us to overcome the storm. Jesus wants us to look to Him during the storms of life. He is the Lord over every storm.

"And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness)." ‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
