God instituted the rainbow covenant with Noah and his descendants in Genesis 9. God promised that He would never destroy the earth by flood again. “This is the covenant that I promise to keep: I will never cause water to destroy all living things on the earth again. Deep water will never again come again to destroy the earth.’ When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember my covenant. It is a promise that I have made with every kind of living thing on the earth.’” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬, ‭16‬ ‭EASY‬‬.

However, God has told us in the very near future, He is going to destroy the earth by fire. “The great day of the Lord will suddenly happen. That will surprise people, like when someone comes to rob them. There will be a very loud noise in the sky. The whole sky will go away. Fire will burn the whole universe and it will destroy everything. The earth and everything that people have done on it will then be in the open.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭EASY‬‬.

God invites us all to enter into the New Covenant, mediated by His Son Jesus, and have our sins forgiven so that we can save ourselves from this wicked and corrupt generation and the soon coming destruction that is to come upon the earth.

In Mathew 24, Jesus tells us that Heaven and earth shall pass away but His Words will never pass away. Jesus is the Word of God and the Word of God is eternal. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. We who have received Jesus have been adopted into God's family. We are sons, daughters and heirs of the Most High God. God has given us a spiritual inheritance and He wants us to walk in it. Jesus told us in John 10:10, "It is the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life, and life more abundantly."

God cannot lie. The Bible tells us He is not a man that He should lie nor a son of man that He should change His mind. All of us have lied but God has never lied. In writing to the Romans, the apostle Paul explains to both the Jews and Gentile Christians in Rome, that just because many of the Jews failed to obey God's Word, it does not nullify God's faithfulness and the truth of His Word.

"What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬"

The word "save" in the Greek is "sozo". Sozo means not only to be healed spiritualy, but emotionall and physically as well. In Daniel 2, God begins to reveal the sequence of events that would take place in the end times. God gave King Nebuchadnezzar a dream which perplexed him. He asked his wise men not only to interpret the dream, but to tell him the dream which he had. Of course, the wise men could not tell him the dream, so he issued a decree to have all of them killed. God is faithful to His Word. In Genesis 6, God told Noah that He would destroy the earth by flood. There was great violence in the earth, so much so that He regretted that He created humankind. Genesis 6:5-8. God provided a way for escape for Noah and his family and for anyone who chose to believe His coming judgment. Sad to say, only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were saved. After the flood, God made a covenant with mankind never to destroy the earth by again.
