概要
In this week’s episode of Psychologize U we invite psychologist Tracey King on the podcast to discuss the tragic death of Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst. We discuss the signs and symptoms of depression, how to seek help, and how to aid someone whom you might fear suffers from depression. High Functioning depression can often look different than what most look for with depression symptoms, and in Black women it can be completely overlooked when they appear successful in other arenas.
If you are worried that yourself, or someone you know might be struggling with depression you can contact the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-8255, or you can text the National Crisis Line by texting “Strength” to 741-741.
