    David Curtis has lived a strange life. Born in Oxford in 1945, he spent decades moving between Air Force bases, the Apollo program, the hippie counterculture of the sixties, and the monasteries of the Himalayas, all while being quietly visited by an intelligence he cannot name.     For nearly fifty years, Philip Mantle has investigated UFOs, interviewed experiencers and published their stories, and in this wide-ranging conversation he joins TruthSeekah to trace the journey from a Yorkshire teenager's first sighting to a body of work that has shaped modern ufology.

    Philip grew up in West Yorkshire, England, fascinated by the paranormal from a young age, and his interest became a life path after he saw his first UFO in the winter of 1981 on Carlton Moor. Driving across the moor with Graham Birdsall, one of the founders of the Yorkshire UFO Society, he watched a giant wheel of colored lights, like the London Eye torn off its axle, hanging silently in the sky. Graham missed it, and the moment convinced Philip that investigating the phenomenon was not a waste of time.

    That conviction became a publishing career. After founding Flying Disc Press, Philip has released UFO books from around the world, including UFOs Over Poland, UFOs Over Romania and Nancy Tremaine's Preordained, alongside his own classic survey of UK abduction cases, Without Consent. He is best known for his long collaboration with Calvin Parker on the Pascagoula abduction, producing Pascagoula: The Closest Encounter and Pascagoula: The Story Continues.

    His newest project is Introducing UFOs: A Young Person's Guide, a 150-page illustrated book with a photo section that walks the next generation through three cases per decade, from Roswell to Betty and Barney Hill, so that teenagers can learn how to evaluate evidence instead of trusting whatever tops a Google search. Philip talks about the importance of preserving the old files for future researchers and why the field needs young pilots, engineers and skywatchers.     The sky has been VERY active, and TruthSeekah and Aaron are here to tell you exactly what they saw and what it means. For the first time in years they pulled out their phones and night vision gear again because the activity was too good to ignore, and what they captured is a week that feels like a preview of everything the UFO phenomenon has been building toward.

    It started with the Sun. Gazing at a field near their home, they watched a bright halo around the Sun fade within seconds, then saw objects moving straight up and out of the solar glow. A few nights later the Draconid meteor shower put on a show unlike anything they had seen in fifteen years: meteors that stopped midair, did loop-to-loops around other stars, and zigzagged in strange patterns, all visible through Gen 3 military-grade night vision goggles and pointed out to each other with laser pointers. One night they counted fifteen or sixteen shooting stars in two minutes pouring out of a single area of sky, what they call a portal. Last night two lights traveled together and one dropped a bright object that stayed glowing while the other kept moving.
