  • Peace Has A Name | Carols Service | Ps Dan Cronin
    2025/12/17

At Christmas, we sing about peace — but many of us still feel weary, anxious, or stretched thin.

In this Christmas Carol message, Dan explores the powerful truth behind Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and the angelic announcement:
“Peace on earth… God and sinners reconciled.”

Drawing on a personal story from the early days of marriage, real-life illustrations, and the Christmas story from Luke 2, this message reminds us that peace isn’t something we have to chase — peace came looking for us.

Jesus didn’t come to shout instructions from heaven.
    He came close.
    He stepped into our mess.
    He stood in the gap.
And He offers forgiveness, reconciliation, and new life to all who receive Him.

Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for fresh hope this Christmas, this message invites you to discover that peace has a name — and His name is Jesus.

  • The Good Shepherd | Ps Esther Scholes
    2025/11/19

In a world drowning in information—where we process the equivalent of 74 gigabytes of data daily, more than someone 500 years ago consumed in their entire lifetime—we desperately need a clear voice to guide us through the chaos. This message takes us deep into John 10, where Jesus describes himself as the Good Shepherd, offering us the most profound relationship available: one where we are truly known, deeply loved, and carefully guided. The imagery is powerful and personal—Jesus doesn't just point the way from a distance; he lays down his life for his sheep. This isn't about religious duty or trying harder to be good enough. It's about recognising that our primary relationship with God changes everything else. When we make space each morning to hear the Shepherd's voice before the noise of the world floods in, we position ourselves to live from a place of security rather than striving. The restoration of Peter in John 21, where Jesus asks three times 'Do you love me?' and responds with 'Feed my sheep,' shows us that our love for God naturally overflows into love for others. We're not called to be dominated by people or to dominate them, but to serve one another freely because we're already filled by the only Master whose love is completely pure. This is the antidote to our distracted, anxious age: knowing we belong to the Shepherd who searches for us when we're lost, binds up our wounds when we're injured, and strengthens us when we're weak.

  • The Gospel Message | Ps Jonny Leech
    2025/11/12

At the heart of this message lies a profound truth that many of us struggle to accept: we've all messed up, yet God's love remains unshakeable. Through the story of Peter's denial of Jesus in Luke 22, we encounter a powerful reminder that our failures don't disqualify us from God's purpose. Peter, one of Jesus' closest friends, denied knowing Him three times—yet Jesus had already declared Peter would be the rock upon which the church would be built. This paradox reveals something stunning about grace: God knows our future failures and still calls us into His mission. The message challenges a common pastoral issue—people disqualifying themselves from God's love because of their past. Whether it's Adam and Eve, King David, Jonah, or Peter, Scripture is filled with flawed people whom God used powerfully. The gospel doesn't require perfection; it requires surrender. When we understand that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners, we realize that no amount of baggage is too heavy for Him to carry. The call today is to stop living under the weight of shame and start walking in the freedom Christ purchased for us. Our lives are too significant, our time too precious, and our calling too great to remain trapped by past mistakes.
