The big build up of Christmas much of the time leaves us hanging at the end with well...nothing. What do we have to look forward to. This year, I feel like Christ has transformed my life in the way Christmas is meant to. Here is my perspective now of Christ's hope. Hope it blesses you.

Being a parent at more times than others is a thankless job, and sometimes that can be amplified at Christmas. Mathew 6:4 speaks doing things in secret, like Santa Clause! What blessings come from such work!?

In all our excitement, wanderings, complexities, in our work, or even disparity preparing for Christmas, let us discern our approach of our tasks by way of John Henry Newman's quote on vocation, resolution and offering; and in doing so allow God to meet us where we are at making way for the infant king in all its wonder and love.
