Around 3,000 people in South Wales are currently employed in organisations which are part of CSConnected, the world’s first compound semiconductor cluster. But the global semiconductor industry is facing a workforce shortfall of up to 300,000 people by 2030. Host Gemma Casey is joined by Brandon Jones, Skills Manager at CSconnected, Catherine Lundie, People and Resources Director at Novomorphic and Owen Guy, Professor of Semiconductor Chemistry at Swansea University to discuss the initiatives already in place and the next steps to future-proofing the sector in Wales.
