Is any body ready? Will any body be ready?
I honestly believe that the Word of God was given to man by our Creator in order that we could know a portion of what He knows about every thing and everything He knows about our humanity: its beginning, its downfall, its escape route, its ending and its reward. He has told us, from antiquity, how our world would be today, 6022 years after Adam's creation.
Because I believe His Word: I know that the 7th day of the Sabbath of the Lord our God; I know that 'seven' is significant to our God and that a day with the Lord is equivalent to 1000 years of human life; I know that His desire is to live in Jerusalem; I know that He hates sin; I know how to avoid sin; I know that Jesus Christ will return to this earth at some point on the 6th day to prepare for his 1000-year Sabbath rest; I know that His power will cause there to be a change made to the dead, so that they may rise, and to the living, who are in Christ; I know that this occurs on THE LAST DAY.
