    Bud’da first made his mark with Dr. Dre on the Aftermath album, and quickly became a key name in hip hop production. He went on to produce Westside Connection’s debut single “Bow Down”, a record that defined an era. His catalog also includes classics like Xzibit’s “3 Card Molly” and Ice Cube’s solo cuts like “Greed” and “Ghetto Vet”.


    Beyond the West Coast, Bud’da expanded his sound to R&B, working with the late Aaliyah on her final album — cementing his versatility and influence across genres.

    We dive deep into Tony A.’s journey as a Latino DJ breaking into the West Coast scene, meeting a young Dr. Dre, and eventually teaming up with Hi-C and becoming the tour DJ for both Hi-C and DJ Quik.
