Prescott High School freshmen will get a hands-on look at the cost of adulthood this August through The Reality Store, an interactive financial literacy program designed to help students connect classroom learning with real-world decisions. The program, presented by the Prescott Branch of the American Association of University Women in collaboration with The Launch Pad Teen Center, will take place August 25 and 26 at the Prescott High School Library for the school’s Freshman Academy. During the experience, students imagine themselves as 25-year-old adults. Each student is assigned a career, paycheck, and family situation, then visits a series of stations...
