Maria Tureaud is the author of one of my new favorite novels, This House Will Feed, which is set at the height of the Irish Famine in the author’s own County Clare. Amidst the devastation of Ireland’s Great Hunger, a young woman is salvaged from certain death when offered a mysterious position at a remote manor house in this chillingly evocative historical horror novel. Maria hails from the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland, and she is a seasoned Developmental Editor of fourteen years as well as an acclaimed author of middle grade and adult fiction.
