This is a special episode.   For my birthday, my mentee, Micaela Coleman, interviewed me on a subject that resonates with my soul.  I shared with her why I loss my confidence as a young woman and how I regained it much later in life.  It was a moment of complete vulnerability between the two of us, as we discussed our journeys towards building greater confidence.

She and I sat down to have this conversation in the middle of the pandemic and we talked about everything from getting unstuck in life, to marrying the person you need, even when you don't believe it's the right person for you, to pivoting during crisis.  This was a timeless conversation.

We laughed, we shared and we learned some new things from one another, but most importantly, we both walked away believing that the human spirit really can survive and overcome absolutely anything with a determined mindset.
