Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the question of why church attendance in the US has plummeted and what has led to churches losing their voice in the culture of America. Dr. Hall reviews a litany of things in US culture that reflect a moral decline. As he addresses these things he repeatedly asks the question, “Who’s fault,Him is it?” He points out that more and more thoughtful commentators say the fault lies with the churches of America. Many of the cultural shifts in America that have led to churches losing their cultural traction are reviewed and analyzed. It is pointed out that some do not blame religious leaders for the failures of their churches and the retreat from American life but see those changes as a slow cumulative cultural shift. Others, including Dr. Hall, blame church leaders for much of the moral decline in America. The podcast concludes with Dr. Hall adamantly stating, “The future for the Christian church and believers is not hopeless.
