- It's a crazy time of year, and we're always glad to see the UIL state track & field meet rolling out in Austin. Out of tons of kids competing, what Central Texas storylines are you most interested in?
- We're deep into the UIL state softball playoffs, with 3 Centex teams still standing in the regional finals. Do you think there are good odds all 3 will win state? If not, who's most likely out of Midway, Bosqueville and Jonesboro?
- We don't get too many football coaching changes in May, but Ty Robinson has left Crawford for Palestine, and the district quickly promoted Sam Moody to its HFC/AD role. For a program that traditionally has tons of stability, the Pirates now have 3 coaches in 3 seasons. Is Moody likely to be the guy for the long haul?
- November and February tend to be our biggest signing months, but we've had a burst of activity lately with Bosqueville, Midway, Lorena and others. What would your advice be to these kids who are making decisions fairly late in the recruiting process?
