Our guest U.S Marine Veteran speaks about his time in service with the United States .Government. Manuel elaborates on his music management career. Mr. Castellano speaks about his journey to get a heart transplant being a LVAD recipient. A left ventricular assist device (LVAD) is a mechanical pump that is implanted in patients with heart failure. It helps the bottom left chamber of your heart (left ventricle) pump blood out of the ventricle to the aorta and the rest of your body. This device is implanted in a patient while that patient is placed on a heart transplant list.
