Driven by the arrival of acid house music from Chicago, Ibiza’s Balearic party spirit, Detroit Techno and European club music. It saw thousands of young people gather in clubs, warehouses, and illegal outdoor raves in search of freedom, unity, and euphoric communal experiences.
