If you've been using ChatGPT - or any other AI tool as your therapist - you need to listen to this. It's something I'm hearing increasingly in my practice - clients running scenarios, even text messages and emails through ChatGPT and asking for advice and therapy or coaching like feedback on how they should feel, and what they should do next in their relationships. It seems like a smart life hack on the surface - quicker, cheaper and more readily accessible than real therapy or coaching. But it might actually be making things worse for you.
