God’s promise of his presence goes far beyond a building, “I will pour out my Spirit on all people.” After the disappointment of Exile and the lack of God’s presence in the rebuilt temple, there is hope and a promise of something greater to come.

Keep the main thing, the main thing. Religious traditions, structures and systems become empty vessels outside of continuingly journeying in His presence.
