Cliff Schadt Jr. is a second-generation horseman, clinician, and trainer behind Cliff Schadt Performance Horsemanship. Rooted in traditional cowboy values and influenced by both vaquero-style horsemanship and modern performance principles, Cliff’s program emphasizes feel, timing, softness, and mental soundness in every horse.

Traveling nationwide to start young horses and teach clinics, Cliff is known for his thoughtful, no-nonsense approach—building confident, willing partners rather than quick fixes. His work bridges old-school horsemanship with practical, real-world performance, helping horses and riders develop trust, clarity, and durability that lasts.

Above all, Cliff believes great horsemanship is about responsibility, humility, and honoring the horse—doing right by them, even when it’s hard.

Fourth generation horseman. Pedro has been involved in the horse industry for many years. He is an accomplished trainer, roper and father. With his wife Gracie Torres they run Cavvietta Quarter Horse and Cattle Company. They have brought a significant number of new opportunities for horse people to Eastern North Carolina.
