  • How a 5K, a Little Girl, and a Mountain Changed Everything (Part 2 - Mini Series)
    2025/10/28

In Part 2 of the Stone Mountain Story, Krish picks up where we left off — the spring of 2014. What started as one man’s search for purpose after sobriety turned into something so much bigger.

After watching a powerful video of a young girl named Carolyn battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, Krish began climbing Stone Mountain weekly, starting a small “Monday Sunset Hiking Club.” On Easter Sunday, April 20th, he joined hundreds for the sunrise service — a moment that sparked the idea to keep climbing.

In April, he learned about the Atlanta-based nonprofit CURE Childhood Cancer, ran his first-ever 5K — Lauren’s Run— wearing a homemade “Praying for Carolyn” shirt (misspelling and all), and by June 2nd, 2014, committed to an incredible challenge: 100 climbs in 90 days.

This episode captures the early steps of faith, courage, and calling — before there was a movement, a website, or a banner. Just a man, a mountain, and a mission.

  • Stone Mountain & the Start of Something Bigger — Part 1 Mini Series
    2025/10/28

Welcome to Part 1 of “The Climb” mini-series — the true story of how one ordinary day in 2014 became the start of something extraordinary.

At the time, I was sober, focused, and working in one of Atlanta’s fastest-growing real estate firms. Life was steady—but it still felt incomplete. Then came three moments that changed everything:

1️⃣ A heartbreaking post about a little girl named Carolyn fighting cancer.

2️⃣ A $39 gym membership charge that reminded me I wasn’t living fully.

3️⃣ A spontaneous decision to hike Stone Mountain that turned into a spiritual turning point. This is the story of how pain, purpose, and one climb set off a chain reaction that would eventually inspire thousands through Step Up, Be a Voice.

  • Roblox Exposed Why I Think Video Games Are Stupid and Dangerous for Our Kids
    2025/10/28

🚨 Roblox is under fire. Florida’s Attorney General has issued criminal subpoenas to Roblox over allegations that predators are using the platform to target children. Other states, including Kentucky and Louisiana, have filed similar actions. In this episode,

Krish takes a hard stance — not just on Roblox, but on video games as a whole. He’s said it before and he’ll say it again: Video games are stupid, a waste of time, and no one can change his mind. But this isn’t just a rant — it’s a wake-up call for parents. Online gaming platforms are not just breeding brain rot — they’re exposing children to grooming, exploitation, and real-world danger.

  • Let Them Dream The Science Behind Kids’ Imagination & Superheroes
    2025/10/28

Kids don’t just “play pretend” — they build worlds.

In this episode of THIS with Krish, we talk about why letting your kids have a superhero, an imagination, and even a little chaos is one of the most important things you can do for their development (and your sanity). I share real stories from our home — my son Liam, who’s never been much into toys but thrives outdoors, and my daughter Brynlee, whose living room toy kingdom could qualify as a FEMA zone. But behind the mess is something beautiful — a mind learning empathy, emotion, and creativity in real time.

We’ll also dive into some fascinating research on the psychology of pretend play:

🧠 Harvard University’s Center on the Developing Child — explains how imagination helps kids process emotions, build empathy, and develop executive function.

🦸‍♂️ University of Minnesota’s “Batman Effect” study — found that kids who pretended to be superheroes had greater persistence and focus during difficult tasks.

💬 American Academy of Pediatrics — notes that imaginative play directly supports emotional regulation, language skills, and problem-solving. So yeah — that pile of toys on your floor isn’t chaos… it’s creativity under construction.

Watch, laugh, and maybe see your kids a little differently after this one.

  • The Beauty of Losing and Why It Hurts So Good
    2025/10/27

Today on THIS with Krish Show, we talk about winning, losing, and why the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story.

From a weekend of shocking college football upsets — where top-ranked teams fell hard — to the emotional rollercoaster of watching my son’s lacrosse team go from victory to heartbreak, this episode dives deep into what it really means to compete with heart. I share the moment my son — after giving everything he had in three back-to-back games under the Texas sun — fell into my arms and said through tears, “I wanted to win.” That moment hit harder than any touchdown highlight. Because life, like sports, isn’t about never losing — it’s about how you respond when you do.

Whether you’re a parent, athlete, coach, or just someone trying to stay the course when life keeps throwing punches — this episode will hit home.

🎙️ Topics covered: The biggest college football upsets of the week Why losing can be the most powerful teacher Lessons from youth sports (and parenting) The difference between results and resilience How faith, humility, and heart redefine “winning”
