This life is temporary, but it is easy to forget that when daily routines feel so permanent.

Like a student absorbed in high school who suddenly realizes graduation is near, we all eventually face the reality that we are just passing through. Paul captured this truth powerfully when he said he considered his own accomplishments as garbage compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.

Our trophies, achievements, and successes will not last, but what we do for Christ will. Dying to self does not mean caring less about life. It means surrendering the center of it to Jesus.

Fix your eyes on what is unseen, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
