On Iron Vault Seven, a failing cryogenic space station is being drowned from the inside after its lower levels flooded and became Drowner breeding territory. Squad Trench-9 is sent into the eastern wing to repair Corridor 12-Alpha, a leaking supply route needed by forty-seven soldiers trapped in Sector 12.
The engineers move a pressure-sealing crawler through dead bays, wet junctions, and damaged membranes, trying to restore atmosphere before the route collapses. But the Drowners are not just living below the station — their juveniles are chewing through junction seals, raising the water, and turning pressurized corridors into feeding ground.
With vacuum on one side and floodwater beneath their boots, the squad is forced to keep working inside infrastructure that is already failing.
