• Rosemary Thornton - Maryville, IL
    2026/02/24

In September 2018, Rosemary Thornton died. Not almost. Not nearly. She calls it what it was. A temporary death experience.

After years of unimaginable grief following her husband’s suicide, a devastating cancer diagnosis, and a catastrophic medical emergency, Rosemary found herself floating through darkness that felt like velvet. There was no fear. No pain. No guilt. Only peace. And then the words she had longed to hear her entire life.

    Welcome home, dearie.

In this deeply moving conversation, Rosemary shares what happened beyond the door she almost walked through. She describes the spiritual “car wash” of light, the massive presence who told her, “You are the image and likeness. I am the original,” and the moment she chose to return, not for herself, but to spare someone else unbearable guilt.

Her story is raw, intelligent, emotional, and full of grace. From supernatural healing to angels singing at her bedside, this is not just a story about dying. It is a story about being restored to wholeness.

You will not forget this one.

  • Elton Anderson - Detroit, MI
    2026/01/20

Elton Anderson spent much of his life chasing success in the material world. From corporate pharmaceutical sales to celebrity photography, international travel, and television opportunities, everything on the outside looked perfect. But inside, something kept calling him toward a deeper truth.

After contracting malaria while traveling in Africa, Elton became critically ill in Brazil and crossed into another realm. What he experienced there was not fear, judgment, or separation, but an overwhelming sense of oneness, surrender, and love. He describes being surrounded by tall, feminine energy beings and returning to what felt like the ocean of consciousness where all souls originate.

Coming back changed everything. Elton walked away from his old identity and began a journey of spiritual awakening, self discovery, and deep surrender. As he traveled the world during the months leading into the global pandemic, he encountered spiritual traditions, synchronicities, and soul connections that reshaped how he understood purpose, love, and human connection.

  • Raymond Martinez Pt. 3 - Illinois
    2026/01/13

Raymond Martinez’s third and final near death experience is the most difficult story he has ever told. During a medical emergency made worse by violence, Raymond says he lost consciousness under a streetlight and crossed into the spiritual realm once again. What followed was not a single moment, but a series of powerful revelations he believes he was shown so he could return and speak the message clearly.

Raymond describes entering darkness, then peace, then standing in the presence of God, who showed him how the spiritual world sees humanity. He was shown people not as bodies, but as spirits, some carrying a flame within them and others without. He was shown angels, demonic forces, and the unseen spiritual struggle surrounding everyday life.

He was also shown events he believes are warnings about the future, the importance of spiritual awareness, forgiveness, and choosing compassion over violence. In the midst of unimaginable pain, Raymond says forgiveness was the final act that allowed him to return to his body and survive.

This episode is intense, emotional, and deeply faith centered. Raymond shares his story not to frighten, but to urge understanding, empathy, and the urgency of listening, helping, and loving one another while there is still time.

  • Raymond Martinez Pt. 2 - Illinois
    2026/01/06

Two years after his first near death experience, Raymond Martinez faced another life threatening medical crisis. This time, his blood sugar dropped so low that his body began shutting down while he lay conscious but unable to move. What followed was not peace, but a warning he says he was never meant to forget.

Raymond describes being shown a dark, cold realm filled with suffering, torment, and despair. He witnessed souls bound to the very struggles they carried in life and heard voices filled with regret and anguish. He was warned not to cross a line that would mean staying there forever. Just before that moment, he was pulled back and surrounded by angels, light, and the sound of singing.

In this intense and deeply personal episode of There and Back Again – Stories of the Other Side, Raymond shares why he believes he was shown this place, what it taught him about choice and faith, and why he feels called to speak openly about it. His message is not meant to frighten, but to urge compassion, awareness, and the importance of reaching out before it is too late.

  • Raymond Martinez Pt. 1 - Illinois
    2025/12/30

At twenty eight years old, Raymond Martinez was overwhelmed by illness, divorce, custody battles, and a new diagnosis of type one diabetes he did not yet fully understand. When his blood sugar spiraled out of control, Raymond entered diabetic ketoacidosis and his body began shutting down. He does not remember arriving at the hospital or being taken to the ICU. What he remembers is waking up somewhere else entirely.

Raymond describes walking through a hospital hallway, seeing his own body through a glass window, and realizing with certainty that he had died. Surrounded by indescribable peace, vibrant colors, and the unmistakable presence of God, he was shown both darkness and light. He witnessed a garden filled with living trees, animals, water, and golden gates, where everything radiated life and meaning. In that place, he saw two small girls holding hands who he later understood were his daughters.

Then came the moment of choice. Raymond heard God’s voice clearly and was told that one direction meant never returning, while the other meant life, help, and purpose. With faith no larger than a mustard seed, Raymond chose the path that brought him back.

In this deeply moving first part of Raymond’s story, he shares how dying removed his fear, strengthened his faith, and reshaped how he understands God, suffering, and the purpose of life. His message is simple and powerful. You are chosen. You are loved. And it is never too late to turn toward the light.
