Odds and Ends: We had a little bit of time left in this one, so T.J. and Ida talk about the newest Final Destination movie.

Feature Film: Meri Kurisumasu! Ida and Peyton wouldn't leave the voice call until we talked about the second Battle Royale movie, so here we are. A sequel that is impressive only in how it manages to take the worst qualities from the first movie and leave out all the rest. It's insane how they could fuck up this badly. I was going to go in on some of the issues, but there's just too many, just listen to the episode. But it's got Riki Takeuchi in a cute rugby outfit, so it can't be that bad? Oh wait, it still is that bad? It's gotta be REALLY bad then, because look at that lil guy!

Feature Film: Some of T.J.'s friends from a nerd ass weeb Battle Royale roleplay fan group he used to be in (real life - NOT CLICKBAIT) join the show to talk about the cult classic film itself. He said he had a good time though, so don't judge the rest of us on how bored he looks for 90% of our discussion. He told me himself, he said "yeah, that was fun." How could you not be enraptured hearing us talk about the intricacies of fictional characters' crushes on each other from a Japanese novel from 30 years ago? I swear, he said it was fine.

Feature Film: An insufferable comedy anthology movie with a very similar frame narrative to a different insufferable comedy anthology movie we covered on this show. We talk as much about the movie itself as we do more important questions. Namely, how and why was this made?
