Pull your chair closer to the fire—but pay attention to how many shadows are sitting beside you.
In this episode, Terri and Andrew share the kinds of frightening stories that have been told around campfires for generations: classic urban legends, regional ghost stories, Appalachian monsters, Gullah Geechee folklore, haunted railroads, mysterious witches, vengeful spirits, and a collection of two-sentence nightmares.
Along the way, they encounter the Dungarvon Whooper, the Taily-Po, a possible Boo Hag, Screaming Jenny, the Chesterville Witch, a disconnected telephone that rings in the darkness, and several reasons never to investigate a strange noise outside your tent.
Some stories are frightening. Some are unexpectedly touching. Others leave behind questions that probably should not be answered after dark.
