このコンテンツについて

Hello and welcome to The Power of You! My name is Ashley Ta.
I am an Army Veteran, an Army Wife, a mother of three and a mindset/transformation coach. I have been on my own transformational journey since January 2014.
I started my journey overweight, unhappy, and unsure of if I would ever truly be able to find my own power.
I have struggled most of my life with low self-esteem, and was bullied a lot as a kid for my weight/size. So when I started my journey in 2014, my sole focus was just to lose the weight I gained after having my first child (and gaining 80 lbs).
But throughout my journey (and a total of three babies), I have learned so much about myself. More than I was ever expecting to learn.
So that is why I wanted to create this podcast.

To share what I've learned over the last 10+ years in my journey, and to continue to inspire, encourage. motivate and help other women find and discover their own power and magic, from the inside out.

I hope you love my podcast, and everything I share here. And if you do, I would love so much for you to leave my podcast a review, or come share any take aways with me on my Instagram:

But again, thank you for being here. I love you! And remember...
take care of yourself... from the inside out!

  • Consistency over intensity: why starting small creates bigger wins.
    2025/07/01

    Text me, bestie!

New month, new goals… and a fresh reminder: you don’t have to go hard to make real progress.

In today’s episode of The Power of You, we’re talking about why consistency matters more than intensity, especially when starting something new like a fitness routine or lifestyle shift.

I’ll share a bit of my own journey (including the times I went too hard and burned out fast 😅), plus offer practical, mindset-shifting ways to ease into new habits that actually stick.

Whether you’re restarting your fitness journey, setting new goals, or just needing a pep talk to take things slow... you’ll leave this episode feeling grounded, motivated, and proud to start where you are 💕

Let’s stop chasing perfect and start embracing progress you can maintain.

    XO,

    Ashley Ta

  • Love, deployment & the power of staying strong.
    2025/06/23

    Text me, bestie!

In this raw and emotional episode of The Power of You, I’m opening up about a chapter I never wanted to record… my husband’s deployment.

This isn’t just about saying goodbye. It’s about what it means to hold it all, deep love, heavy goodbyes, and quiet strength… while still showing up for life, for your family, and for yourself.

I’m sharing what those final moments felt like, the unexpected guilt of crying in front of my kids, and the grace I’m learning to give myself as I carry the weight of it all. If you’ve ever found yourself trying to be strong while your heart feels fragile, this one’s for you.

You’ll hear real talk about the mental load, the invisible pressure to “handle it,” and why being soft doesn’t make you any less strong. We’re rewriting what strength looks like, together.

So if you’re walking through your own version of goodbye, or just need a reminder that you’re allowed to be human while being powerful… this episode will speak to you.

    💗 Let’s breathe together.

Let’s hold space for it all.

Let’s stay rooted in the power of us.

  • Burnout, Boundaries and Realignment
    2025/06/16

    Text me, bestie!

In this honest and heartfelt episode, I open up about my recent experience with burnout. I talk about how it’s been affecting me as a mom of three, a military wife preparing for deployment, and a content creator questioning everything.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure whether you’re still passionate about what you do… you’re not alone. In this episode I dive into the emotional weight of burnout, the pressure of hustle culture, and the power of pressing pause to realign with what truly matters.

I discuss personal reflections, practical tools, and a gentle reminder that you don’t have to “push through” to prove your worth—you’re allowed to rest, reassess, and begin again.

Whether you’re in the thick of burnout or simply feeling off lately, this episode will feel like a breath of fresh air and a conversation with a friend who just gets it.

💛 PLUS: Stay until the end for powerful journaling prompts to help you reconnect with yourself.

    XO,

    Ashley Ta
