- Jane, 9 years old, Arna, 7, and Grant, 4, left before ten in the morning and were supposed to return by noon.
- The report was made between five and six in the evening after they did not return on the twelve or two o'clock buses.
- Several witnesses saw the three children at Glenelg Beach with an adult man, middle-aged and over one meter eighty tall.
- Investigators were alarmed to see that Jane, a responsible girl, acted as if the man was trustworthy.
- Jim Beaumont died in April 2023, at ninety-seven years old, without knowing what had happened to his children.
