  • Your Spirit, Your Way.
    2026/05/29

Every man is on the search for their destiny, the path or way that leads to fulfillment.

A lot of times this seems to be something we think need to chart on our own and by our own decisions because letting someone else speak can feel like taking a backseat in your own life. As humans, we need to decide and be accountable for our selves or at least so we say, the choice of autonomy is our hands.

And this doesn’t stop once we enter church and the most controversial thing is that God will not force us to change our views but he does show us the better way…

Because, there comes a point in our lives where we have to really sit back, reason and go back the compass that shows us the true north, God’s

On today’s episode, ‘Your Spirit, Your Way’, we delve into the person of the spirit and his labor with us to redirect and steer us onto the true way.

  • Rules , Liberty III: God’s True Instruction
    2026/05/15

Rules are often viewed through the lens of restriction. We hear instruction and immediately think limitation, control, or confinement. But what if we have misunderstood the heart behind God’s commands from the very beginning?

On today’s episode of the Zoe Life Podcast, Rules / Liberty III: God’s True Instruction, we continue tracing this conversation through Genesis, moving deeper into the story of Noah and the state of humanity after the fall. As the world became increasingly corrupted by violence and evil, we begin to see something important about God’s nature. His instructions were never careless demands. They came from a place of preservation, relationship, and a desire for humanity not to destroy itself.

Through Noah, we see the difference between a heart that continually resisted God and one that chose to walk closely with Him. We reflect on what covenant really means, why God gives instruction in the first place, and how easily we misunderstand His guidance as punishment rather than protection.

I hope you found truth in this

  • Rules / Liberties II: Tainted Expression
    2026/05/01

Expression is something we all value. The freedom to choose, to create, to live life in a way that feels true to us. And when it comes to God, there are so many mixed ideas about whether He limits that freedom or gives room for it.

But what if we’ve misunderstood it from the beginning?

On today’s episode on The Zoe Life Podcast, Rules / Liberty II: Tainted Expression, we revisit what we started last week and go deeper into the tension between rules and liberty. Tracing it back to Genesis, we see that God’s first interaction with man was not restriction, but blessing, freedom, and expression.

As we move from the garden into the story of Cain and beyond, we begin to see how human expression became distorted. The same freedom that was meant to reflect God’s nature started producing something else entirely. Not because God designed it that way, but because the heart of man changed and how something that was meant to be beautiful can become destructive.

We see that the question is no longer whether we are free to express ourselves.

It is what our expression is actually producing.

  • Rules, Liberty I: The Fundamentals of Expression
    2026/04/18

There is something about rules that most of us instinctively resist. From when we are young, being told what to do can feel like being put into a box. Even when the instruction makes sense, there is still that part of us that wants to push back, to do things our own way, to question why we have to follow it at all.

And that feeling does not really go away.

In today’s episode of The Zoe Life Podcast, Rules, Liberty I: the Fundamentals of Expression, we explore that tension between rules and freedom. Why is it that we often focus more on what a rule restricts rather than what it is trying to protect or build? Why does guidance sometimes feel like limitation, even when it is meant for our good?

Through everyday experiences, from childhood defiance to moments in adult life where being told what to do feels frustrating, this episode begins to unpack where that instinct comes from and what it reveals about us. Especially as believers, it invites us to rethink what rules actually represent in the context of growth, expression, and purpose.

Because maybe the real issue is not the presence of rules.

But how we understand the freedom we think they take away.

  • In Him we Live: The Easter Special
    2026/04/06

When we were younger, holidays felt simple. Time off school, moments with family, small joys that didn’t need much explanation.

As we grow older, those same holidays begin to mean something different. Rest, a break from routine, a chance to slow down. And somewhere in that change, it becomes easy to enjoy the moment without ever questioning the meaning behind it.

But what are we actually celebrating?

On today’s Easter special on The Zoe Life Podcast, In Him we Live, we pause and reflect on Easter above the appearances. Beyond the long weekend, the rest, and everything the season has come to represent culturally. We go back to the centre of it all, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and what that truly means for us as humans.

Because it is one thing to know of Jesus, and another to truly know Him. One thing to acknowledge the story, and another to understand the weight of what was done.

From the conversation with Nicodemus to the prophecy in Isaiah, and the sacrifice that ties it all together, this episode explores the depth behind the season we so easily celebrate.

And remembering the One in whom we live, move, and have our being.

  • The Bible Mirror Series I: The Heart Man
    2026/03/27

There is a way we often approach the Bible that feels safe.

We focus on the highlights, the victories, the neat endings that leave us encouraged but not necessarily challenged. We talk about Daniel in the lions’ den, but not always the weight of the life he lived before and after. We speak about kings and prophets, but soften the parts that feel uncomfortable to sit with.

But what if we’ve been reading it with a filter on?

In this episode of The Zoe Life Podcast, we begin The Bible Mirror Series by turning our attention to the heart of man, starting with David. Not just the version that is easy to celebrate, but the full picture. The process, the contradictions, the humanity.

Because to truly understand a person’s journey, you have to go back to the beginning and follow it through honestly.

This series is an invitation to pause before we even open the text and take a real look at ourselves. To set aside the need for everything to feel comfortable, and to confront the parts of Scripture that challenge how we see the people God uses, and how we see ourselves.

Because Scripture does not hide the flaws of the people God uses.

It reveals them, and shows us that God works through real, imperfect hearts.

  • In / Without Control?
    2026/03/13

Control is something we naturally hold onto. We like to believe our lives are ours to direct, that we should be the ones deciding the pace, the path, and even the lessons we learn along the way.

Even when someone warns us about the consequences of a choice, there is often something in us that still wants to find out for ourselves.

But that instinct didn’t start with us.

In this episode of The Zoe Life Podcast, we go back to the beginning, right to the garden in Genesis, where humanity was first given both freedom and instruction. Adam and Eve were created with the ability to choose, yet the moment the serpent introduced a twisted version of truth, the desire to take control became stronger than the trust they had in God’s guidance.

It’s a story that still echoes in our lives today.

From childhood moments where we resist discipline, to the ways we try to direct our own paths as adults, the tension between our will and God’s wisdom is something every person experiences.

Today’s conversation draws on that struggle between living by the pull of our own nature and learning to trust the One who created us in the first place. Because sometimes the life we try so hard to control is actually the very thing God is trying to transform

  • Community = Friends. Enemies. & The Ones Between
    2026/03/07

Community is rarely as simple as we imagine.

Within any group of people there are those who feel like friends almost instantly, those relationships that grow slowly with time, and those that feel complicated from the very beginning. The ones we understand easily, the ones we learn to understand, and sometimes even the ones we struggle with altogether.

And yet somehow, we still find ourselves gathered together.

Maybe that’s because community was never meant to be built on everyone being the same. The body of God has always been far more varied than that, made up of different people, different journeys, and different ways of coming to faith.

On today’s episode of the Zoe Life Podcast, we reflect on community through the lens of Friends, Enemies, and the Ones Between, and what it means to belong to something that was never designed around uniformity, but around something much more profound.

I hope this episode gives you something to sit with.
