Created for those who desire lasting transformation, this podcast guides you through the daily practice of renewing your mind through the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit. In a world filled with pressure, noise, and constant demands, many attempt to change through effort, discipline, and control. True transformation does not come from striving. Transformation comes as the mind yields to the Spirit of God already at work within. Your host is Eric Hayes, minister, teacher, and author of The Yielded Mind. His work equips believers to step out of self-driven effort and walk in daily surrender, where the Holy Spirit brings lasting change from within. This is not a podcast for reflection. This is a pathway to transformation.

This Christian devotional explores Psalm 126:3 and celebrates the completion of The Yielded Mind 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. Discover how the Holy Spirit continues His transforming work beyond Day 50 and how complete surrender, Spirit-filled living, and the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit empower believers to exalt Jesus Christ, overcome sin, serve others, and become His faithful witnesses.

The Lord has done amazing things for you. What joy!

Welcome to Day 50 of The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. Today is a day of celebration, remembrance, and expectation—your Day of Jubilee. After 50 days of revelation, conflict, discipline, surrender, transformation, keeping Christ at the center, and learning to live the yielded mind, you arrive not simply at the conclusion of a journey, but at an invitation into what comes next.

Through Psalm 126:3, you'll celebrate what God has already done while looking forward with expectancy to the continuing work of His Holy Spirit. You'll also return to Jesus' promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and explore how the book of Acts reveals that God is not confined to one method as He fills and empowers His people.

In today's episode, you'll be invited into complete surrender before Jesus Christ, consider three biblical patterns surrounding the receiving of the Holy Spirit in Acts, and enter an extended prayer for the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit. Day 50 is not the end. It is an invitation to continue walking with Christ, continually yielding your mind and life to His indwelling Spirit.

Today's Scripture: Psalm 126:3 (New Living Translation)

    In This Episode:

    • Why Day 50 is a celebration, remembrance, and expectation
    • Why completing the 50-day journey is not the conclusion of your transformation
    • Jesus' promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit
    • Three biblical patterns of receiving the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts
    • Why God is not confined to one method or formula
    • What it means to approach Jesus with faith, hunger, expectancy, and complete surrender
    • Why the Holy Spirit's power is given to exalt Jesus, overcome sin, love people, serve faithfully, and become His witnesses
    • An extended prayer for the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit
    • An invitation to welcome the gifts and work of the Holy Spirit without striving or imitation
    • How to continue living the yielded mind beyond Day 50

Key Truth: "The conclusion of these 50 days is not the conclusion of your transformation. This is the beginning of a life increasingly yielded to the Lord Jesus and continually filled with His Holy Spirit."

Reflection Question: As you complete this 50-day journey, is there any part of your mind, will, emotions, relationships, ambitions, wounds, calling, or future that you have not yet completely surrendered to Jesus Christ?

Prayer Focus: Come before Jesus with faith, hunger, expectancy, and complete surrender. Ask Him to baptize and fill you with the Holy Spirit, yielding every part of your life to His presence, power, direction, gifts, and transforming work. Welcome whatever the Holy Spirit desires to accomplish for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Scripture: “Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!” (Psalm 126:3 NLT)

This Christian devotional explores Philippians 1:6 and the life-changing promise that God will faithfully complete the good work He began within you. Discover how the Holy Spirit continues renewing the mind far beyond this 50-day journey as you keep yielding, trusting, and walking with Jesus Christ through every season of life.

God is not finished with you. The One who began the work will faithfully continue it.

Welcome to Day 49 of The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Living the Yielded Mind Week continues, you'll discover why Day 50 is not the end of God's transforming work within you. Through Philippians 1:6, you'll learn that your confidence is not found in your ability to transform yourself but in the faithfulness of the God who began His good work within you and promises to bring it to completion.

In today's episode, you'll learn why unfinished work is not failed work, how the Holy Spirit continues forming the character of Christ throughout your lifetime, and why every ordinary day beyond this journey becomes another opportunity to yield your mind and walk faithfully with Him.

Today's Scripture: Philippians 1:6 (English Standard Version)

    In This Episode:

    • Why your confidence in spiritual transformation rests in God's faithfulness
    • What it means that God began, continues, and will complete His work within you
    • Why unfinished spiritual growth should never be confused with failed growth
    • How the Holy Spirit continues renewing your mind throughout your lifetime
    • Why Day 50 is not graduation from the yielded life
    • How ordinary moments become opportunities to yield to the Holy Spirit
    • Why returning to Christ is your response when you stumble, struggle, or become distracted
    • A guided prayer for continuing the journey with joy, hope, surrender, and confidence in God's faithfulness

Key Truth: "God began His good work within you, and He will faithfully continue it. Keep yielding, keep trusting, and keep walking with His indwelling Holy Spirit, knowing that your journey of renewal continues far beyond Day Fifty."

Reflection Question: Where do you see unfinished work in your life that the Holy Spirit is inviting you to view with hope and trust rather than discouragement?

Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to help you celebrate the transformation God has already produced, trust Him with the areas that remain unfinished, return quickly to Jesus whenever you stumble, and continue yielding your mind to His renewing work far beyond Day Fifty.

Scripture: "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 ESV)

    2026/08/17

This Christian devotional explores 1 Corinthians 15:58 and the life-changing call to remain steadfast and faithful in your walk with Jesus Christ. Discover how the Holy Spirit renews the mind by strengthening you through ordinary acts of daily obedience and reminding you that nothing faithfully surrendered to Christ is ever wasted.

Faithfulness is built through ordinary obedience. Keep yielding. Keep walking.

Welcome to Day 48 of The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Living the Yielded Mind Week continues, you'll discover why faithfulness matters long after this 50-day journey is complete. Through 1 Corinthians 15:58, you'll learn that because Christ is risen and your future in Him is secure, you can remain steadfast even when progress feels slow, obedience goes unnoticed, or you cannot yet see the fruit of what God is doing.

In today's episode, you'll learn why faithfulness is rooted in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, how spiritual growth is often built through ordinary and unseen obedience, and why nothing you faithfully surrender to the Lord is ever wasted.

Today's Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (English Standard Version)

    In This Episode:

    • Why the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives you reason to remain faithful
    • What it means to be steadfast and immovable in your walk with God
    • Why faithfulness does not depend upon constantly feeling motivated
    • How spiritual growth often happens through ordinary, unseen obedience
    • Why slow progress does not mean God has stopped transforming you
    • What to do when old patterns return or you stumble along the journey
    • Why your labor in the Lord is never in vain
    • A guided prayer for steadfastness, obedience, perseverance, and lifelong faithfulness

Key Truth: "Faithfulness is built through ordinary acts of daily obedience. Keep trusting, keep yielding, and keep walking with the Holy Spirit, knowing that nothing faithfully surrendered to Christ is ever wasted."

Reflection Question: Where are you tempted to become discouraged because progress feels slow, and how might the Holy Spirit be inviting you to simply remain faithful and take the next obedient step?

Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you when progress feels slow, keep you obedient when no one is watching, draw you quickly back to God when you stumble, and give you confidence that every act of faithfulness offered to Jesus Christ has eternal significance.

Scripture: "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58 ESV)
