This is a breaking down a reading, a discussion a mini analysis of a poem that I feel like is an underdog, but it is one of a series. If you look around, you can find them, but overall, I love this character and it’s mounting something interesting and therefore, I have the first part of the series in the Voodoonauts anthology called La Sirene I always think of all of the ways we can give life to a poem and sometimes it’s simply reading it and sharing it and other times it’s understanding why it was written the way that it was written. What does it do? How was it speaking and what is the palm trying to say and this is me figuring it out somehow. Thank you always for listening.
You can read the poem here and please check out this Caribbean issue. There are a lot of gems and short stories here.
