If we’re being honest, I think every man carries a story.
Some parts are easier to talk about, while others get buried beneath responsibility, toughness, humor, and those familiar words:
“I’m fine.”
But what happens when the man we’ve become is still carrying the pain of the boy we once were?
Who is this little boy—and why does he seem to be living in my chest?
In this next episode, we’re going to explore that wounded warrior inside all of us as we wrestle with the inner child.
We’ll talk about what it means to carry wounds that may have shaped us long before we understood them—and how those wounds can still surface through anger, fear, rejection, relationships, or the constant need to prove ourselves.
This episode is not about blaming the past for every struggle we face today. It is about recognizing what may still be affecting us, understanding why certain moments hit us so deeply, and beginning an honest conversation about the wounded places beneath the armor.
Psalm 147:3 says:
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
God is not ashamed of the wounded parts of our story. He meets us there—and He offers the healing we may have spent years trying to find on our own.
So today, let’s go beneath the armor as we talk about that wounded warrior inside all of us and discover what God may have for us in this conversation.
I’m really glad you’re here.
Let’s dive in.
